What network environment does CuboAi Monitor 3 require?

💡CuboAi Monitor 3 is a network camera that needs to be connected to your home Wi-Fi in order to use the CuboAi App on your phone.

• After downloading the CuboAi App on your phone or other mobile devices, you can view the live feed from your home camera through the CuboAi App as long as your phone is connected to the internet, whether you are working outside or traveling abroad.
• Features like cover face/rollover detection and cry detection also rely on cloud-based AI artificial intelligence for analysis.
• CuboAi Monitor 3 supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi frequencies.

🐦 Reminder:

1. The camera can only connect to Wi-Fi networks that are "password-protected" to ensure user privacy and security.
   
   
2. Please avoid using "mobile hotspots" as the Wi-Fi base station for the camera to connect. CuboAi Monitor 3 needs to remain in a stable network environment to continuously transmit live feed and detect dangers at all times, parents should use "home Wi-Fi" to ensure the stability of CuboAi Monitor 3 connection and normal operation of its functions.
   
   
3. Currently, CuboAi Monitor 3 only supports WPA series encryption methods (WPA, WPA2) for Wi-Fi routers. For security, compatibility, and performance reasons, the team strongly advises against using encryption methods with lower security levels such as WEP, and WPA-TKIP. Please use WPA2 with AES encryption type to enhance connection security.
   
   Note: Due to serious security vulnerabilities, the Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA) has requested the gradual phasing out of WEP and WPA-TKIP encryption standards and methods.
   
   

4. We recommend parents connect CuboAi Monitor 3 to the Wi-Fi frequency with better connection quality in their home environment.

   2.4 GHz frequency: Has better penetration, suitable for connecting to this Wi-Fi frequency in open spaces, larger areas, or when there are obstacles (such as walls, and cabinets) between CuboAi Monitor 3 and the router.

   5 GHz frequency: Has less interference, suitable for connecting CuboAi Monitor 3 to this network frequency in densely populated residential areas, smaller spaces, or when there are no obstacles like walls between the camera and the Wi-Fi router.
