After plugging in the power, the CuboAi status light will first show a "Aqua blue light," which will change to a "green light" after about 1.5 minutes. You can then start setting up CuboAi according to the instructions in the CuboAi App!
If CuboAi does not turn into a "green light" after powering on, parents should follow the steps below to troubleshoot:
Step 1. Use the original power adapter:
Please make sure you are using the original power adapter. Using a non-original adapter may cause CuboAi to not function properly due to insufficient voltage.
Step 2. Replug the power:
Unplug the power adapter, wait for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in; after powering on, wait for a minute to see if the status light changes to green.
If after trying the above steps, the status light still remains "dim blue," "purple," or does not successfully set to "green" after, please follow the steps below to reset:
1. Plug in CuboAi to power
Do not reset while the dim blue light is on (startup light) unless it remains stuck on the dim blue light.
2. Insert the reset pin horizontally into the "4th hole from the left on the 2nd row from the top" on the back of CuboAi
3. Press and hold the reset button until you hear a "click" sound, then wait for about 10 seconds
4. After 1 to 2 minutes, when CuboAi chirps and the light changes from "dim blue" to "green," you can proceed with the setup
