How to manually update the firmware of the CuboAi Monitor 3?

Firmware updates are released regularly to improve product functions and fix bugs. You can refer to this article: CuboAi Monitor 3 Firmware Release Changelog

Starting from August 1, 2022 for purchases made in the United States, Australia and Canada, and March 31, 2023 for purchases made in the United Kingdom, Germany and France - All firmware updates outside of the warranty period will no longer be provided for the CuboAi Smart Baby Monitor (Gen 1).

How to update firmware 

When there's an update available, you will receive a push notification on the Notifications Tab. To manually update your CuboAi Monitor 3 firmware, please navigate to your CuboAi App Settings > Tap the baby monitor to Update > Camera Settings > Firmware Version > Tap the Update button.

When the firmware update is in progress, CuboAi Monitor 3 will remain the same as it was before the update. You will see "CuboAi is updating" in the live feed. CuboAi Monitor 3 will restart after the update, please wait for the live feed to go back in the App for CuboAi Monitor 3.

Reminder:

• If you do not see the latest firmware version or the Updatebutton, please help power cycle CuboAi Monitor 3 by unplugging and plugging it back in and allow 5-10 minutes for the Updatebutton to show up.
• Please do not unplug the baby monitor when a firmware update is in progress. If for any reason CuboAi Monitor 3 is disconnected from the power source during the update, it will automatically resume the update once it has been connected to power again.
• If the firmware is updated over 20 minutes, please try unplugging and re-plugging the CuboAi Monitor 3 device.
• If you have multiple baby monitors, please make sure to go through the manual update process for all the baby monitors.

Check your current firmware version in CuboAi App Settings > Tap the baby monitor on top > Camera Settings > Firmware Version.
