The Auto Photo/Video Capture is a patented technology developed by CuboAi that automatically recognizes large or unique movements of babies such as turning over, kicking, twisting, biting their hands/feet, staring at the baby monitor, crying, or just generally smiling. • How does it work?

The Auto Photo/Video Capture function will be activated when CuboAi Monitor 3 installed on the Floor Stand, Crib Mount or Wall Mount with the lens facing down directly.

🐦Reminder: CuboAi Monitor 3 detects Baby using image and movement recognition. The image recognition works best when the baby monitor is placed directly above the crib with the lens pointing directly down.

• How to Turn On/Off Auto Photo/Video Function?

Step 1: Go to CuboAi App settings page

Step 2: Select the camera you want to adjust settings for from the top tab

Step 3: Turn on/off the "Auto Photo/Video Capture"

CuboAi is expected to provide 3 to 12 photos per day, consolidating photos every 12 hours and sending mobile push notifications; parents can also preview photos in advance using the following methods:

-iPhone: After receiving a push notification, "long press the notification" to display the screenshot

-Android: After receiving a push notification, "drag down" the notification to display the screenshot

The automatically captured photos will be added to CuboAi App’s Homepage on the Moments Wall and will be displayed in reverse chronological order (with the most recent ones on top). You may view photos/videos captured on the Moments Wall.

Photos/videos taken by the Auto Photo/Video Capture function will be kept on the Moments Wall in reverse chronological order. If you have CuboAi Care Premium activated, you can enjoy 30 days of Moments Wall storage or if you have the CuboAi Care Ultimate plan, you will have 90 days of Moments Wall storage. (The photos/videos will be automatically deleted after the set period).

- How many photos can CuboAi take in a day?

1. Whenever CuboAi detects significant movements from your baby, it will automatically capture footage.

2. If you manually take a photo of your baby by tapping the capture button, there's a chance it will be included in the Moments Wall.

3. Photos taken by AI or manually will be compiled in the CuboAi app's home screen under the Baby Moments Wall. Each day, 3–12 photos are generated and organized chronologically by your baby's age. Parents can easily save these photos directly to their phones.

- Can it be adjusted for specific expressions or actions?

Since CuboAi Monitor 3's AI has been programmed to capture a wide range of movements (such as turning over, kicking, biting their hands/feet, sitting up, etc.) and facial expressions (such as staring at the baby monitor, smiling, laughing, crying, etc.) there is no manual way to instruct CuboAi Monitor 3 to only take photos of specific movements or expressions.

🐦Reminder: The baby monitor's image recognition works best when the camera angle is set to vertically look down into the crib. If it’s set from an angle, CuboAi Monitor 3's ability to recognize movements and expressions might be affected and result in miscapturing the precious moments.

- How to save and manually delete photos/videos

1. To save photos, you can click on any photo on the moment wall, then click "Save" in the top right corner to save a single photo, or click the "..." icon and choose "Save all photos & videos" to save all photos and videos on the moment wall at once.

2. If you’d like to delete any automatically captured photos, simply navigate to the album of the day, select the photo you’d like to delete, click on the ellipses in the upper right-hand corner, and choose whether you’d like to delete the photo selected or all photos from that day. Please note that the photos cannot be recovered once deleted.
