When CuboAi detects a hazardous event, it will send a notification sound to alert parents on their mobile phones. If you see records on the notification wall in the CuboAi App but did not receive any notification on your phone, or if you received a notification but did not hear the sound, or if there is a delay in notifications, please help confirm the following information:
- Confirm that the notification permission on your phone is enabled
- Confirm that the ringtone and media volume are turned on, and the Do Not Disturb mode is disabled
- Confirm that "Background App Refresh" / "Background Data" is enabled and that data usage and battery performance are normal
- ※Special settings for other phone models

Confirm that the notification permission on your phone is enabled
If the notification permission has not been granted to the CuboAi App, there will be a banner above the notification wall reminding parents to enable the permission. Parents can click on the "Enable Notifications/Go to Settings" button in the banner, or follow the steps below to set it up:
iOS devices (See iPhone 11 as an example)
Step 1:Open the Settings → Notifications on your phone
Step 2:Scroll down and tap CuboAi
Step 3:Select Allow Notifications and make the Sounds option enabled
Android devices (See Google Pixel 3 as an example)
Step 1:Go to "Settings"→ "Apps & notifications"
Step 2:Scroll down and click on "CuboAi"
Step 3:Click on "Notifications"and enable "Show Notifications"
🐦Reminder: To avoid missing the notifications for CuboAi App when the phone is locked, please also make sure that the Lock Screen option is enabled on both iOS and Android devices.

Check Ringtone and Media Volume
When the CuboAi App is open or streaming audio in the background, the notification sounds will follow the settings of the media volume.
When the CuboAi App is closed or not streaming audio in the background, the notification sounds will follow the settings of the sound/ring volume.
iOS devices (See iPhone 11 as an example)
The volume can be adjusted using the volume buttons or by following the steps below:
Step 1: Go to "Settings" on the phone
Step 2:Tap Sounds and adjust the volume as per your preference
Ensure that the phone's Do Not Disturb mode is not enabled:
Step 1: Go to "Settings" on the phone
Step 2:Click on "Do Not Disturb" to ensure this feature is not enabled.
Android devices (See Google Pixel 3 as an example)
The volume can be adjusted using the volume buttons or by following the steps below:
Step 1: Open the Settings on your phone

To make sure the device is not in "Do Not Disturb" mode:

Turn on the Background App Refresh / Background data & Unrestricted data usage
If notifications are delayed, please make sure the "Background App Refresh"/"Background Data" is switched on for CuboAi App.
iOS devices (See iPhone 11 as an example)
Step 1: Go to phone "Settings"
Step 2: Scroll down and select "CuboAi"
Step 3: Switch on "Background App Refresh"
Android devices (See Google Pixel 3 as an example)
Step 1:Open the Settings → Apps & Notifications on your phone
Step 2:Scroll down and tap CuboAi
Step 3:Tap Mobile data & WiFi
Step 4:Switch on Background data & Unrestricted data usage
Note: The battery performance may also affect the functionality of the push notification on some Android devices. Please go to the Settings on your phone → Tap Battery → Make sure that the "Apps are running normally" (Phone has typical background battery usage) and the Battery Saver and Adaptive Battery are disabled . (See Google Pixel 3 as an example)

Step 1: Open the Settings on your phone
Step 2: Scroll down and tap "Battery" → "Battery Saver" → select Auto-start Manager
Step 3: Find CuboAi and set to "Allow"
