1. Turn on the Notification Settings on the Phone
If you’re not receiving notifications, please make sure "Allow Notifications" is switched on for the CuboAi App in your device Settings. You may see a banner on top of the Notifications Tab in CuboAi App with an "Enable notifications now/Go to Settings" button. Please tap the button to enable notifications.
Alternatively, you may adjust the Notification Setting in your mobile device:
iOS device (See iPhone 11 as an example)
a. Open the Settings → Notifications on your phone
b. Scroll down and tap CuboAi
c. Select Allow Notifications and make the Sounds option enabled
Android device (See Google Pixel 3 as an example)
a. Open the Settings → Apps & Notifications on your phone
b. Scroll down and tap CuboAi
c. Select Show notifications
Note: To avoid missing the notifications for CuboAi App when the phone is locked, please also make sure that the Lock Screen option is enabled on both iOS and Android devices.
2. Turn on the Sound Volume for Notifications & Disable the Do Not Disturb mode
If you are receiving notifications/alerts without notification sounds, please make sure the sound/media volume is turned on and the device is not in "Do Not Disturb" mode.
Note: When the CuboAi App is open or streaming audio in the background, the notification sounds will follow the settings of the media volume. When the CuboAi App is closed or not streaming audio in the background, the notification sounds will follow the settings of the sound/ring volume.
iOS device (See iPhone 11 as an example)
The volume can be adjusted using the volume buttons or by following the steps below:
a. Open the Settings on your phone
b. Tap Sounds and adjust the volume as per your preference
To make sure the device is not in "Do Not Disturb" mode:
a. Open the Settings on your phone
b. Tap Do Not Disturb and make sure it is switched off
Android device (See Google Pixel 3 as an example)
The volume can be adjusted using the volume buttons or by following the steps below:
a. Open the Settings on your phone
b. Tap Sound and adjust the volume as per your preference
To make sure the device is not in "Do Not Disturb" mode:
a. Open the Settings on your phone
b. Tap Do Not Disturb and make sure it is switched off
Note: Some Android devices support "Override Do Not Disturb" function. Please go to Settings → Apps & Notification → CuboAi → Choose the Notification Category that you'd like to adjust → Notifications → Advanced → Override Do Not Disturb (See Google Pixel 3 as an example)
3. Turn on the Background App Refresh / Background data & Unrestricted data usage
If notifications are delayed, please make sure the "Background App Refresh"/"Background Data" is switched on for CuboAi App.
iOS device (See iPhone 11 as an example)
a. Open the Settings on your phone
b. Scroll down and tap CuboAi
c. Switch on the Background App Refresh
Android device (See Google Pixel 3 as an example)
a. Open the Settings → Apps & Notifications on your phone
b. Scroll down and tap CuboAi
c. Tap Mobile data & WiFi
d. Switch on Background data & Unrestricted data usage
Note: The battery performance may also affect the functionality of the push notification on some Android devices. Please go to the Settings on your phone → Tap Battery → Make sure that the "Apps are running normally" (Phone has typical background battery usage) and the Battery Saver and Adaptive Battery are disabled . (See Google Pixel 3 as an example)
※Other Phone Settings
If you're using the following Android mobile devices, please also help double check some other phone settings:
Asus Zenfone
a. Open the Settings on your phone
b. Scroll down and tap Power Management → select Auto-start Manager
c. Find CuboAi and make sure it's enabled
