Aside from the camera lens, Cubo camera's picture quality will also be affected by the network connection and the performance of mobile devices:
- iOS device
To ensure the best functionality of Cubo App, it will automatically change into 720p while using the device models earlier than iPhone 6s to prevent your mobile device from draining battery or lowering the synchronization of Cubo's live feed, etc.
If you're using the device models later than iPhone 6s, the resolution will also be adjusted automatically according to the types of wireless network you connected to:
- connected to a WiFi network: 1080p
- connected to a 4G network: 720p
- Android device
Users with an Android device can manually adjust the camera resolution in the Cubo App by going to Setting → Tap on the connected camera on the top → Camera Settings → Resolution → Select 720p or 1080p.
Friend Reminder: Viewing the live feed in 1080p will increase power consumption and lower battery life of your mobile device. To view the live stream without interruptions or delay and to conserve battery life, we suggest switching to the 720p when the network connection is unstable.
